Since the advent of telecommunications, statistical approaches have been adopted to tackle technical problems. In particular, excellent end-to-end mathematical and probabilistic models developed in this field have been functioning admirably well up until now. Nowadays, in the heyday of AI, such precise well-functioning models seem to render the AI algorithms futile for telecommunications as they are mostly employed where the end-to-end models are not available or difficult to obtain. Nevertheless, recently the attempts to leverage AI alongside the existing statistical models have been increasing dramatically. In this Ph.D., we have reasonably deployed AI in conjunction with the existing models in a hybrid manner to address the localization and synchronization problem in 5G networks.

The Panthéon-Sorbonne Master in Economics (PSME) provides the students with the mathematical micro- and macro-foundations of economics during the first semester. Next, based on those foundations, one has the opportunity to further expand their knowledge by delving into subjects such as macroeconomics of development and industrial economics in the second semester. Finally, a thesis concludes the program and prepares the students for the next step of their academic/career life.
