Design that reveals
Agile — iterative process, open to change
Consistent — same quality, every deliverable
Reliable — I see every project through

What I do:
Communication Design — embracing Brand Identity Systems, Corporate Design, Visual Identity, Print and Digital, Web Design, Motion and Animation, Social Media Design and Design Strategy.

No templates. Ever.

I don't build brands. I uncover them. Your identity already exists — in how you work, what you believe, why you started. I research it alongside you — listening, questioning, looking — until what was always true about you becomes impossible to misread. Every project is different. Nothing is prebuilt. From first concept to final delivery, start to finish.

Adobe CC · Affinity Suite · Microsoft Suite · AI tools (Claude, Stable Diffusion) — to push creativity further, never to replace it.

AI-augmented process — automated brand audit, generative design system, full visual identity delivered in days, not weeks. Every project built from scratch.

    CULTURE
    January 2009 - January 2019 (10 years)
    Busseto, Italy
I had the privilege of overseeing the comprehensive design strategy for the Giuseppe Verdi National Museum. My multifaceted role involved curating the corporate design, internal wayfinding system, all promotional materials, and the development of the museum's website. Notably, I personally designed the logo and symbol, including the logotype, and created a comprehensive brand manual to guide its consistent application. In addition, I crafted unique icons featured in both the museum's communication materials and throughout its physical spaces.
Additionally, I took charge of designing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for the audio-visual guide within the museum's exhibition spaces. This encompassed creating an intuitive and engaging interface to enhance visitors' exploration of the museum's rich content. The holistic approach aimed to create a seamless and captivating experience, capturing the essence of Giuseppe Verdi's legacy through a visually compelling and cohesive brand identity.

    TRANSPORTATION
    September 2023 - September 2023
    Berlin, Germany
I designed a curtain truck for Scania and Sennder under the new brand JUNA. The goal was to create a fresh and dynamic image that conveys the idea of eco-friendly electric transport, respecting nature and the environment. I therefore designed an image composed of two associated elements: one of an overhead view of a road and the other of a lightning bolt, a natural element. In the final image, these two components, while remaining distinct, interacted to create continuity and a relationship. The result was simple and clear, perfectly capturing the client's intentions.

    January 2014 - December 2014 (1 year)
    Berlin, Germany
I had the privilege of spearheading the event design identity for the WFFM (World Federation of Friends of Museums) XV Congress in 2014 held in Berlin. In this capacity, I meticulously curated every visual aspect, from the iconic imagery guiding the event to creating the symbol and various graphic elements. My responsibilities extended to developing the visual representation for the event, encompassing the website, brochures, posters, newsletters, and other promotional materials. It was a comprehensive effort aimed at ensuring a cohesive and visually impactful identity for the WFFM XV Congress, contributing to its success and resonance.

We reached out to Matteo for a time-sensitive design project with very high level instruction on the direction. Matteo was able to come back to us with quite a few options based on this and this really helped us move this project forward quickly and within timelines. He is able to read between the lines when it comes to design input which is an essential skill as sometimes its hard to put some abstract ideas into words. We were quite happy with his work and look forward to working with him on future projects.
