Joshua Stehr

We are a global non-profit focused on the climate workforce transition. Joshua has been leading one of our teams for a while - it's a team that studies the climate workforce.

Joshua has a rare combination of skills - user research, design, group facilitation, general "people stuff", and others, not to mention an incredible work ethic - that makes him able to single-handedly pull off or lead the full lifecycle of complex and multi-sided efforts: for example, coordinating a group's work on conducting a research study, compellingly explaining the findings in visual form, and conducting group activities around disseminating the findings and acting on them.

This combination of skills is of great value in the role of a team lead in general - it's obviously a role that requires a lot of explaining and group facilitation.

It's been a real joy working with Joshua on this, there's so much I get to learn from just observing his work.

Joshua helped us developing a B2B platform solution in the donation environment. He designed several web pages from scratch and adapted and perfected others. Furthermore, he created the design system and several prototype variants. Joshua also supported me in collecting user feedback in semi-structured interviews and evaluating the feedback. I especially liked Joshua's structured and always very creative way of working. In order to find out our expectations & to strengthen out vision for the user journey and the requirements for the individual websites, he used various methods such as the CORE model in joint meetings. I had a lot of fun working with Joshua in this way to find out our exact needs for the user experience. The cooperation with Joshua was characterized by reliability, open communication and clear structure. I am already looking forward to further projects with Joshua, as I am sure that he will create great UX for us and our users.
