My curiosity about designing and building a website has been rising in my university years of psychology. I have taught myself since then how to make a custom design on Blogger and WordPress. After that, I continued my study in graphic design and visual communication in Berlin to improve my knowledge of typography, color, photography, imagery, art direction, etc.
During my design study, some projects made me interested, for example, when analyzing user needs, creating a user journey, and also coming up with some ideas on features that focus on user experience. Some topics that I’m interested in this area, for example, how they treat fonts, call-to-action buttons, and error messages that don’t make users feel bad about themselves when doing wrong actions.
Later on, when I worked on prototyping for the web app, I was getting more interested in the building phase. So, in August 2022, I joined a Bootcamp for Web Devs. Designing, analyzing, and building web projects brought me so much joy. For example, I used LottieFiles (with animation in brand colors) for the error page so that it made users not feel too bad when there was an error with their request. I enjoy learning about coding because it can improve the quality of human-machine interaction.
