Dr. Wasif Masood is a serial entrepreneur and AI researcher with three live products in market. ChaperoneAI builds enterprise-grade, domain-specific LLMs for pharma — its custom-trained models have surpassed 27,000 downloads, performing within 4 points of GPT-4o on the MedQA benchmark. NumericalAI is the first GPU-native, one-click CFD simulationplatform — running high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics on NVIDIA GPUs with 1000x speedups, zero licensing fees, and already attracting strong VC interest. Deep Research is an AI-powered research copilot searching 200M+ papers across OpenAlex, arXiv, and PubMed, synthesizing findings into citation-backed reports — powered entirely by in-house customized, self-hosted GenAI models with no dependency on third-party LLMs.

All three products operate under Empirisch Tech GmbH, founded in Oct. 2021. The company's innovative work has earned it membership in several startup programs: Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub (Stage 5, $150K Azure credits), NVIDIA Inception, AWS Startup, and Microsoft's ISV program.
