Trung Nguyen is a seasoned developer with extensive expertise in software engineering and information security. He excels in collaborating with early to mid- stage companies that prioritize scalable infrastructure and operate within a SaaS business framework. Trung not only offers technical leadership but also actively engages in design and implementation.

After completing his studies in business informatics, he embarked on his career in Berlin, where he played a vital role in establishing robust foundations of his customers cloud infrastructure systems.

As Contentful's first Security Infrastructure Engineer, he developed Kubernetes Operators in Golang to securely manage organizational secrets, thus enhancing security by shifting the focus to the left. During his tenure as a Staff Software Engineer at Workpath, he was entrusted with improving developer experiences, fortifying product infrastructure, designing scaling systems, and optimizing software delivery processes. Notably, Trung introduced one-click preview environments to significantly reduce QA process time and built an observability platform to enhance incident response and operational excellence.

While Trung possessed the ambition and product intuition necessary for climbing the corporate ladder, his preference leaned towards independence and a nomadic lifestyle.

Throughout his career, Trung has collaborated with a wide range of companies, ranging from well-established DAX enterprises to garage-stage startups. His contributions have spanned a diverse array of tasks, including the implementation of high-stakes cloud infrastructure-powered features and the establishment of highly efficient engineering teams.
