I've worked as a freelance web developer since 2006 and have experience across a range of projects. My specialisation is implementing web applications with the Ruby on Rails framework. I also have several years experience with the Elixir language through developing an API and message processing application. I've built both traditional HTML/CSS web applications and Hybrid/SPAs using VueJS as my frontend technology of choice.

I'm keen on all aspects of application development including project management, process improvement, research, data modelling, service design, and UX. I always try to adopt a customer-centric focus and aim to ensure decisions around technology and processes are pragmatic and align with business goals.
