I started my career with international media during the 2011 Libyan uprising working as a fixer/producer for reputable media organizations. My work was recognized by the London based Rory Peck Trust and won him the Martin Adler Prize, which honors a local freelancer who has made a significant contribution to newsgathering. Since then, I have made the transition to becoming a cameraman and a filmmaker. My camera work was published on reputable networks such as the BBC, HBO, VICE NEWS, CNN, ARTE, RT, CGTN. Meanwhile, I worked on documentary film projects, most notably, the Deminers of Benghazi.
