The Flight Warning system is meant to aller the cabin crew when there is a malfunction of certain parts of the aircraft. Producing such a device is very expensive in time and in efforts, every modification of a code requires to redo all previous certifications. The prototype of the FWS aimed to reduce the time to market and the costs of production by being generic.
