    Achievements highlights:

    I worked under the Research, Planning and Business
    Development Division [RPD]. RPD Division is part of the
    Commissioner General's Office [CGO], a Department which
    provides executive support in Uganda Revenue Authority
    [URA].
    Under the Research, Statistics and Policy Analysis [RSPA]
    Section within RPD Division, I was the head of the
    organisation's executive Statistics Unit.
    My deliverables included:
     Producing the URA Monthly Key Performance Indicators
    [KPIs] Report,
     Compiling daily Income Tax Exchange Rates and
    uploading them on the URA website,
     Compiling monthly Exchange Rates for International
    Tax purposes and uploading them on the URA website,
     Compiling the URA Annual Data Book,
     Producing the URA Data Management Report,
     Responding to data requests from internal and external
    stakeholders and
     Developing new URA Statistical Tables and updating the
    existing ones.
    After the end of the Millennium Development Goals [MDGs]
    in 2015, another set of global goals called Sustainable
    Development Goals [SDGs] was rolled out by the world
    leaders through United Nations [UN]. I formed part of the
    team representing Uganda to develop the inter-agency
    indicators, provide data and devise mechanisms which
    would position the country to get aligned to the indicators
    of the SDGs. This team constituted of Uganda Revenue
    Authority [URA], Uganda Bureau of Statistics [UBOS], all
    the government Ministries, Departments and Agencies
    [MDAs] and the United Nations Statistical Department
    [UNSD].
    Internally, these deliverables helped to inform decision
    making and streamline the activities for stakeholders who
    include:
    URA Board of Directors, URA Commissioner General, URA
    Senior Management, Heads of Department, staff in
    operational Departments including Domestic Taxes
    Department [DTD], Tax Investigations Department [TID],
    Customs Department [CD], Legal Services and Board Affairs
    Department [LSBA], Corporate Services Department [CSD],
    Internal Audit and Compliance Department [IAC] and
    Commissioner General's Office [CGO].
    Externally, the above mentioned deliverables are used to
    inform decision making and streamline the activities for
    stakeholders including: World Bank, International
    Monetary Fund [IMF], World Customs Organisation [WCO],
    World Trade Organisation [WTO], United Nations [UN], UN
    Agencies, World Economic Forum, African Union [AU],
    African Tax Administration Forum [ATAF],U.S. Agency for
    International Development [USAID], Department for
    International Development [DFID], Organisation for
    Economic Co-operation and Development [OECD], Forbes,
    The Parliament of Uganda, Bank of Uganda [BoU], Trade

    As Acting Manager - Risk Management and Revenue Modeling [RMRM], I led my team to be part of the first ever URA Business Impact Assessment [BIA], which was
    conducted under the Services Support Enhancement
    Project [SSEP] by PricewaterhouseCoopers [PwC].
    I was also part of the team which quality assured the Midterm Review Technical Proposal for Mid-term Evaluation of
    the URA Corporate Plan FY2010/11-FY2014/15. In
    addition, I was part of RPD Management meetings, in which
    critical decisions are regularly made for the Division.
    As a member of the URA Joint Compliance Committee, I
    guided my team in presenting the Half Year Sector Analysis
    Report and Revenue Outlook Projections Based on the
    Performance of January 2014 to July 2014.
    I provided technical resources to support the IMF Uganda
    Mission that is the IMF/FAD Follow-up Revenue
    Administration Mission in January 2016.
    Some of the other duties I fulfilled as Acting Manager
    RMRM included:

    quarter FY2014/15,
     Overseeing the preparation of the Macroeconomic
    Performance Brief, July 2014 to March 2015.

    [for RMRM team] subscriptions to the Institute of Risk
    Management [IRM], London and
     Conducting Enterprise Risk Management [ERM]
    knowledge sharing engagements for students on
    internship.
