Project Manager

March 2015 - November 2016

-Banking and Mobile Roadmap, >2 mCHF
Tasks & Results: Cross-divisional Project Lead for four major projects within the multi-channel digitization security program. Responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility customer facing projects using agile methods in a fast paced environment characterized by complexities between internal teams and third parties.

Focus: E-Banking functionality enhancements (payment limits, geo-location control, global view account aggregation), Greenfield Anomaly Detection System (E-Banking Fraud & Cybersecurity focus) including integration to Payment Fraud Detection System (Actimize). All projects included Java, Java Script, mainframe (core-banking) and several database (DB2, Oracle) technologies.

Agile: UBS have a delivery methodology that is tailored after the evaluation/feasibility phase of a project. As a IT Product Owner, I was responsible to find the optimal mix between waterfall and agile including alignment of internal teams and technology vendors. I owned the project backlog (user stories), worked closely with the responsible scrum masters to schedule 4 weekly sprints and conducted retrospective review meetings with involved stakeholders. I also moderated the estimations process (story points), planned project milestones and maintained an agile dashboard in JIRA showing progress in velocity (burn-down chart) and quality (issue-tracking). All projects included a pilot phase in which a selected number of customers were asked to provide user experience feedback before final go-live.
